Lucas

Roasted a chicken last night and that was my big accomplishment for the day:)haha. It felt good to eat real food again (it had been awhile). I'll probably eat the leftovers for dinner tonight as well. Lunches for me have been chicken noodle soup. Not the best option, but it's easy for me to open a can and it's brothy enough to keep the nausea at bay.

Warm-Up:
10 squats
5 min. walk (@4mph)
10 x 15# shoulder press
10 x 15# good mornings
10 push-ups
10 unanchored sit-ups
10 ring rows

Lucas (Advanced):
5 rounds
10 squats
10 muscle snatch
10 dips

Did not do this, laid down all evening instead!

Walk/Jog 4800m

Still getting my ass kicked by this nausea. Nothing but bread and simple carbs is palatable to me. I know if I can force down some protein, I will probably feel better, but easier said than done. I did manage to eat 2 scrambled eggs with some cheese this morning. I had to take a break halfway into it to curb the puking feeling, though. I ate some toast afterward and that made me feel better for a few minutes. Snacking on nabs and sipping on gatorade at work now. My paleo/zone diet has really gone down the crapper lately. If I can just get some energy to roast a chicken tonight, that will at least be something bland (that's healthy) that I can nibble on in the evenings.

The CFMom.com workout today is to row, run or walk 4800m (roughly 3 miles). I would LOVE to run this... yeah right... so it will probably be mostly walking (different speeds, different inclines) with a few bouts of running thrown in.

Warm-Up:
10 x 15# Shoulder Press
10 x 15# good mornings
10 squats
10 push-ups
10 unanchored sit-ups

WOD:
Walk (run) 4800m (3 miles)

Time: 14:45 (@ 1 mile)

Had to stop early b/c it would have taken me 45 minutes to do 3 miles! And I had to get dinner started. Even with stopping after 1 mile, we still didn't eat until late. Gotta start working out earlier since it's going to take longer now that I'm walking/taking things easy.

Things so far

I am currently 6 weeks along in this pregnancy and the morning sickness (HA, it's all day sickness) has set in. I never knew how daunting this would be, but I know it could be much worse so I'm trying to keep my head up (literally). No puking, just incessant nausea.

I finally did my first CF workout in a long time. I decided to take it a little easy for awhile, at least until my first appt. (which is a week from today). I had some spotting after a CF WOD a few weeks ago, which terrified me. Better to play it safe, in my opinion.

Last night, I did the following, at a slow but steady pace.

Warm-Up:
5 min. walk @ 4mph
Joint Mobility
10 x 15# shoulder press

"Jake" - CrossFit Mom
20 Single Unders
20 Squats
20 Single Unders
20 Push-Ups
20 Single Unders
20 Ring Rows
20 Single Unders
20 KTC's

Not timed. I scaled this back since I didn't want to run yet and don't have a rower (the original wod calls for 250m row instead of the single unders).
